A Monmouth University poll showed that 61% of Americans would like to avoid resetting clocks twice a year. Fortunately, this issue does not have significant differences by political parties - 57% of Republicans, 62% of Democrats and 64% of Independents agree. Unfortunately, there is not agreement on where to have the clocks set. The 61% of Americans in favor break to into 44% of Americans who would like permanent daylight savings time - and the Senate recently passed a bill unanimously (how purple is that!) to do just that in 2023 - 13% of Americans who would like permanent standard time, and 4% not sure.
