PURPLE MOMENT: Senators from SC cross party lines to block abortion ban

A group of five women senators from South Carolina came together across party lines this past Thursday to block a proposed abortion ban and force any discussion of the near-total ban into 2024. Republican Senator Sandy Senn posted the picture of the group (shown below) on her Facebook page calling the three Republicans, one Democrat and one Independent "united and unstoppable."
