PURPLE: It Should Be Possible to Sue Police Officers

A majority of Americans regardless of political party believe it should be possible to bring civil lawsuits against police officers for actions they have taken on the job. According to a recent Quinnipiac poll, 52% of Republicans, 88% of Democrats, and 76% of independents agree that individuals should have the right to bring such civil lawsuits.
