PURPLE: Ban TikTok

A majority of Americans regardless of political party support the U.S. Government banning the TikTok app and preventing TikTok from operating on phones and devices in the U.S. 70% of Republicans, 60% of Democrats, and 58% of independents say they support such a ban, according to a recent CBS News poll. The same poll also indicates that a majority of Americans regardless of party believe that TikTok's parent company being based in China presents a national security risk.
