PURPLE: 21 to Buy a Gun

74% of Americans support raising the minimum legal age to buy any gun to 21 years old, according to a Quinnipiac University poll. Majority support exists across political lines as 91% of Democrats, 59% of Republicans, and 76% of Independents support raising the minimum legal age to buy a gun to 21 years old nationwide.
