AMETHYST: Abortion Should Be Legal in the Case of Rape or Incest

There's not much agreement across party lines in the abortion debate. However, there's one area where there is almost universal agreement: Abortion should be legal if the pregnancy was caused by rape or incest. 82% of Americans agreed with this statement, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll. Strong support crossed party lines with 74% of Republicans, 84% of Independents, and 89% of Democrats agreeing.
